Coming out of the 80s and leaving behind some questionable choices, Fender really pulled their socks up in 90's. This era of American Standards were rock solid guitars and in my opinion, destined to collectable in their own right.
This 1997 example has what Fender called a modern C at the time. Having been changed over the years, the original modern C is a very slim and fast playing neck compared to newer examples. This combined with modern frets and a 9.5" radius makes a very slick playing neck!
Apart from the usual flaking on the fretboard lacquer (standard for this era) this guitar is in excellent condition and comes with all it's case candy and moulded Fender case.
