This 2019 Custom Shop Telecaster features roasted wood all round for enhanced tonal properties, stability and deep and immersive colour. The Roasting method is a relatively new phenomenon and it works well with the vintage design and spec of this '52 reissue.

The roasted ash body has a wide, uniform grain which shines through the 2 colour sunburst nitro finish and compliments the traditional 'blackguard' perfectly. The roasted maple neck has a deep chestnut colour and the 3AAA flames are to die for.

The neck has a '65 C' shape which is a wonderfully chunky profile that's substantial and girthy but doesn't feel in any way awkward. The 10" radius and vintage tall fret's make it a dream to play.

The Nocaster pickups are the perfect counterpart to this guitars design. With Alnico 3 magnets, they are the perfect rich and warm single coils to bring balance to the snap and pop of an ash bodies telecaster. At 6.75 lbs it's about as light as a Telecaster is ever going to get.

This Tele is in very good condition with just a few spots that have been touched up. There is little evidence of play wear and it comes with all the case candy, coa and traveller inside the 'Custom Shop' embroidered, tweed hardcase.
