This 2016 Journeyman '57 Reissue is one of the nicest Strats we've had the privilege of in quite some time. At 7.72 lbs it's ash body is the perfect middle-ground weight. Hefty enough to maintain punch and snap but not so that it sacrifices resonance and comfort.
It's white blonde finish has a slight Mary Kay look and the amber tinted maple neck has a nice even grain. As always, a 9.5" radius and 6105 frets are a breath of fresh air to an otherwise old school feeling Fender.
The Custom Shop 'Bricenda Pineda' handwound pickups not only fetch a small fortune on their own, but they really do live up to the hype. Dynamic, deep and responsive they compliment the tonal complexity of the ash/maple combination perfectly.
The guitar is in excellent condition with the factory relic finish mimicking years of wear and tear. It comes with the original case candy, documents and tweed hard case.
