Fender Custom Shop '63 Reissue Telecaster Relic 2015 Purple Metallic
Established at the start of the 90's the Fender Custom shop have become that dream goal for so many gear enthusiasts. Handmade, beautifully aged guitars, built from the best combinations of high quality tone woods by master craftsmen. Aged to perfection with subtle wear and tear, fitted with best pickups and own brand hardware. Made by the Original manufacturer of rock and roll history, Custom Shop Fenders are where it's at.
This Purple metallic '63 reissue telecaster is just outrageous. Looks wise, you don't get much cooler than a relic'd sparkly purple telecaster and the ageing on this one is really tasteful. Not to over the top but just enough that it looks naturally worn. It's got an awesome dark rosewood fret board that sports 6015 frets with 9.5" radius and a lovely 60's style oval C under it. Nice tint on the neck as well, not to orange.
A really cool spec on this guitar is the factory fitted Dimarzio chopper T and Twang king pickup. This versatile combo, as used by Ritchie Kotzen, has a nice open stratty quality neck pickup and a powerful single sized humbucker in the bridge.
At 6.94 lbs it's about as light as any telecaster can be and this of course is the basis for a phenomenally resonant and open guitar. It's in mint condition and comes with all the documents and original orange lined black hardshell case made by G&G.
It's been fret dressed and set up with 10-46s and plays great!
Thanks for looking!
