Since the 1980's Japan has turned out some seriously high quality guitars, giving American made guitars a run for their money in terms of build standard and cost. It's no secret that Japanese Fender's are brilliant. The attention to detail, wood choice and low manufacturing costs mean great Strat's and Tele's at affordable prices.

The traditional range from Fender take that high Japanese standard and mix it with the classic looks of vintage guitars. This 60's tele just screams cool.  It's white finish has a classy double black bound body that match the black pickguard. The amber tint on the neck really standards out against the monochrome body and the rosewood board finishes it off nicely.

At 7.83lbs it's alder body provided plenty of snap and twang. At some point the bridge pickup has been changed to a Seymour Duncan quater-punder that really gives some gritty tele tone with plenty of whack. Other after market upgrades include Gotoh MG locking tuners (fitted since the pics were taken) and the saddles changed for Gotoh SM3s. This combination makes for easy intonation and rock solid tuning stability 

As always we've restrung and fully set it up so it plays it's best.
