This 2007 Butterscotch Hot Rod '52 is part of a limited run of vintage modified guitars that Fender launched that year. With a spectacular list of specs attached to a vintage looking guitar, there's a lot to love about these guitars.
Modern neck specs make this vintage reissue a pleasure to play. a 9.5" radius and medium/jumbo fret wire are so arguably easier to play than the period correct equivalent and the U shape neck is extremely comfortable.
A Seymour Duncan mini humbucker in the neck ads a really cool twist. Capable of smooth jazzy tones, all the way to raucous stones licks. It's meaty ash body has plenty of snap and sustain and it's just an all round stellar example of the Hot Rod series from Fender
With only a few marks gained over it's thirteen year lifespan, it's in excellent condition and comes with it's original tweed G&G hardcase.
