The Gibson Custom Shop 61 reissue SG is a faithful recreation of the newly revamped Les Paul model that made it's debut in 1961. This was a move made by Gibson in response to the declining sales of the Les Paul. Gibson have gone to great lengths to recreate that guitar as accurately as possible, from the 'Les Paul' truss rod cover to the wide bevel, single wing pick-guard, this guitar is a wonderful homage to that revolutionary guitar.

This reissue has a lovely slim neck that is effortless to play and when paired with the 12" radius and low action, is an absolute dream. At 6.29 lbs its light and resonant bringing all the snarl and grunt that SG's are famed for to the table. The P.A.F style humbuckers translate this to a colourful and rich sound with ringing harmonics and phenomenal sustain.

It's in excellent condition and has hardly been played. It is 100% stock, 100% mint and has all it's original documents and the original black Gibson Custom shop hard-case.
