The Gibson Es-335 is musical icon in itself, being used by players throughout history from Chuck Berry, to Larry Carlton. The combination of semi hollow construction and humbuckers gives you ultimate versatility to play just about any genre you can think of.
The Gibson Custom shop have painstakingly recreated every detail of a 1961 Gibson ES-335 with this outstanding guitar. From period correct construction, contours and hardware to the nitro finish that has been given a 'faded' cherry colour to emulate the natural fading of the dye used at the time. Period correct keystone tuners and wide bevel guard are historically accurate appointments that really ad to the cool factor!
The 2018 ES-335 has a modern ABR-1 bridge, with a locking die-cast zinc tailpiece that makes string changes effortless . It also features Gibson's own MHS humbuckers to accurately capture the sound of a vintage PAF.
This 335 has all the classic semi hollow electric guitar tones, honky, rich and full of vintage mojo. The neck is a nice slim C and it practically plays itself. It's got a lovely rosewood board with a beautiful varied grain going from deep reds to dark browns. It's been fully st up and restrung so plays as good as it can! Comes with all documents and the original pink lined, brown hard shell Gibson case.
