The RG1680 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1999. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale J Custom line. It replaced the RG1608.

The RG1680 features a mahogany body with a flamed maple top bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with offset dot position markers. Components include DiMarzio pickups with a pair of humbuckers flanking a single-coil, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines.

The RG1680 was discontinued after 2000. This fine example is in very good condition with very little signs of use, comes in original hard case which is solid but with only 1 latch working.
