Taking inspiration from some retro offset designs of the past the Roadcore series looks original yet vaguely familiar. With string through body design combined with tunomatic style bridge, P90 pickups, single line tuners, it uses a hybrid of designs from many different manufacturers to create something utterly different to anything else out there. 

Play-ability wise it has a larger neck that what Ibanez typically makes which really helps provide extra sustain when combined with nicely weighted the alder body.  Ibanez's own Super9 nine P90s give a lovely hollow single coil tone with plenty of beef. Feel wise it sits somewhere between a telecaster and double cut les paul! 

As usual with Ibanez, the setup and attention to detail are sublime. It's also it absolutely mint condition and comes with all paper work and ibanez hardcase!

The Roadcore incorporates a classic, retro design with all the modern playability you have come to expect from Ibanez. With its string through body construction, Tight Tune bridge and bolt-on maple neck, the Roadcore RC1720SPR is inspired by classic guitar design. Yet it has been imbued with the playability and dependability for which Ibanez has become renowned. The twin Super9 pickups are unique to this guitar, lending it that classic, fat P90 sound, while the slightly thicker 1-piece RC maple neck gives the RC1720SPR more sustain than Ibanez’s usual thinner neck. Produced in highly limited numbers, the RC1720SPR is a favourite of ours, its deviation from the Ibanez norm proving a complete success.
