Paul Reed Smith McCarty 2004 Whale Blue - Solid Rosewood Neck
With vintage inspiration yet modern innovation, it's not hard to see why PRS's like this are so loved by those who own them. This lovely 2004 McCarty is finished in Whale Blue, that shows off the flame top brilliantly!
It's pattern wide/fat neck profile is a wonderful nod to the girth of 50s Gibson guitars but with PRS's own subtle refinements. The east Indian Rosewood board has decedent solid bird inlays and the McCarty pickups provide old school PAF flavour with added power and punch. The solid rosewood neck is also a wonderful feature that we really don't see enough of.
This PRS is in excellent condition, picking up only a few signs of wear and tear over the last 16 years but nothing too noticeable. It's an extremely good example of how well PRS make guitars and is sure to make it's next owner very happy. It has all it's original documents and comes with it's PRS hard case.
