Canadian guitarist, Nick Johnston has collaborated on numerous occasions with Paul Gilbert and Guthrie Govan as well as releasing a number of his own solo albums. As a result, Schecter have developed his own signature model, the Schecter Nick Johnston Traditional HSS.
Based on an ST style guitar, the Traditional features an Alder body in the classic double cutaway outline, contoured for an extremely comfy playing experience.
The Traditional's neck is made from Roasted Maple and features a Thin 'C' profile. The neck is capped by an ebony fretboard with a 14" radius for smooth, fast playability and choke-free string bending. The board is also home to 22 X-Jumbo frets for increased vibrato and sustain. Position markers are inlaid brass circles.
Powering the Traditional are a pair of Schecter Diamond Nick Johnston Single Coil pickups that deliver a wide range of tones from creamy smooth leads to choppy rhythm sounds, and a powerful Schecter Diamond '78 Humbucker in the bridge position - perfect for musically versatile guitarists looking for a little extra firepower. The pickups are wired through a single volume and tone control via a 5 way selector switch and a push/ pull switch for coil splitting
Hardware is chrome and comprises a Schecter Diamond Vintage Tremolo - with push-in trem arm and smooth, two-point pivot; and a set of Schecter locking machine heads keeping tuning rock solid.
Available in a selection of classic finishes, the Schecter Nick Johnston Traditional offers a high quality, great sounding, great playing alternative to a classic guitar design.
