The Yamaha RSP20CRBBL comes with dual VH7+ Alnico Humbucker pickups. They are controlled using a three way switch, volume and tone controls. The tone is Push/Pull. This is the Dry switch. This is a clever little switch that filters out low frequencies. A little bit like a coil tap except much more use-able. The Revstar has bags of character. Both looks wise and tonally.
